Kurt Elkins's GalleryPosted by Kurt Elkins on 9/19/2006First off, thank you for visiting my site and I hope that you enjoy my work. I am a tattoo artist at Ink Link Tattoos in Gastonia, North Carolina. Ink Link is one of the most popular shops within a two hour driving range. I learned and started tattooing there in January of 2005. I was able to pick up the basic techniques very quickly and start advancing myself to a better form of tattooing. I love the art and will always keep learning as the art changes. I have been an artist as long as I have known how to use a pencil. I love tattooing and look forward to doing it for a long time to come. I have had the privilage to learn from some great artist that I work with and they help to keep me inspired to do the best work to the best of my ability. Please contact me by email or through the shop if you are interested in a tattoo and your comments are most welcome. Thank you.

Koi's are one of most favorite pieces to tattoo and I like to do them BIG. What I enjoy most about Koi tattoos is that I like to draw them custom. I will be adding soon some of my work that is currently in progress and I am trying to use unique positions on the body and a radically flowing design. |

Tribal is a style that I have been doing for a while seeing as I have airbrushed them on automotive work before I started tattooing. I am very practiced at drawing tribal designs but I like attempting a different technique to pull of a different look other than traditional. Mike Cole is awsome with displaying his range of design techniques and definently inspires me to push the deminsions of tribal designs. |

This sleeve was put together by using many random pieces. Most of the pieces are of a adrenaline (hope thats spelled right) junkies magazine pictures. I used some flames, bandana patterns, and swirls to help flow everything into one piece. We have a black and grey sleeve already started to mirror the chest and fill the other arm. |
