I just finished this piece today. The client wanted a piece from Greek mythology. We took the damsel in distress idea, with the town offer the virgin up to the sea monster for sacrifice. He let me go with it from there. I decided I wanted to go with that pulp comic book feel. We both loved how it turned out.
