Art has always been my passion. From an early age I was introduced to many forms of art. My father and grandfather were both extremely artistic but gave up the pencils and paint for metalworking. They were the first people in my life to push me in an artistic direction. At the age of six, my neighbor introduced me to comic book art. Being collectors themselves, they had given me extra copies of comics and fantasy art. Those comic books really peaked my interest and still today comic books are very influential to my artwork. Throughout the next 12 years all I did was sketch and work in all mediums of art. I honestly can't tell you how I graduated highschool, except for all the extra credit posters and highschool event banners. The last two years of school I studied in commercial and graphic arts. In 1994 I began drawing designs for Paul's tattoo Studio and eventually started tattooing. In 2001 I opened Evolution Tattoo with friend and former business partner Kelly and this is where I remain today

Tattoo Flash

Tattoo Flash

I began creating tattoo flash in 1997, alot of my older sets that were never released commercially, only exisit in tattoo studios in my remote area, it's a good thing too, cause they suck real bad. In 2000 my flash art went mainstream when I released my first set commercially in the Tattoo Johnny Flash Catalog. A special thanks to the tattoo industry for supporting my art!
