so i just got done doing a couple of D&D tattoos. totally awesome, especially for the dork in me. i hope somebody out there is as big of a geek as i am and truly appreciates this.

that's what they bees. sort of played with colors on this and just tried to have a good time. i played with the flames and did some things a little differently than normal, and i like how that worked out.

for some reason i thought this owl should have baby arms instead of wings. and if it has baby arms, then of course it needs a bottle.
i'm stupid.

man, this was cool to do. i had a blast with it! i think the halo around the heart sort of made it, though. plus i got to do some cool light sources.

a nice twist on standard zodiac symbol. the corresponding constellation is in the background. i think the layout added a bit of fun to this piece

this is a protes flower. totally insane, and i didn't even know they existed until i did this tattoo.
i really like the overall composition, and almost wish i lived in the tropics just so i could have them in my garden.
sorry about that glare on the after photo, i'm not much of a photographer!

i truly enjoyed this one. i don't get to do enough feminine tattoos like this. i love to tattoo floers on people, believe it or not. glad i got to do this one.

sort of an elvgren pin up style mary. lots of fun, good chance for me to have a little bit of flexibility with my normal style.

lots of fun with this one. i really got to play with the color schemes and fun little details. like all the little uniform white dots in the tail feathers. the peony added a nice bit of contrasting color to the piece as well.

totally out of character, but a client asked for me specifically to do traditional. this isn't what i normally do!
but i had tons of fun with it, and found that this simplistic style of tattooing can be very challenging.

i was working in sort of limited area here for this. but i made it work! i really enjoyed doing this, especially the dead eye glazed over thing thing.

well it is, but we wanted to go for an unfinished look. so much fun mixing these 2 styles.
we have more planned for the rest of the arm, using the theme "tattoos."
sort of a loose sleeve concept, but hey. there's lots of freedom in that theme.

a little TIM VICTIM twist on the traditional japanese style dragon. i thought adding the greens in with the blues was a nice touch, and overall i think it really gave a nice little splash of additional color.

this client wanted a combination between a female butoh dancer and a grim reaper.
if you don't know what butoh dance is, don't feel bad, neither did i. but look into it. it's amazingly creepy.
(1 image)

ever tattooed the same thing over something? i guess this is one of those things.
covered the lettering with the same word and added in the flaming hawk, which is the symbol from the client's coat of arms.

the outline and the wings are healed, but the heart and banner sections are fresh in this photo.

i have no clue what kind of flower this is, but i love it. the folds of the petals worked great for the cover up. very happy with the results.

really tweaked this one out for a client based off of the design he brought me. i wanted to make sure to capture the true meaning of the image for this particular client, and he was very happy with the end result, as was i.

this mirrored a design on the opposite shoulder, but with a totally different style to it. we wanted to go for a bat, but neither evil nor cute, so i think this fell somewhere in the middle.

i rarely do any japanese themed tattoos, but this one was just calling my name. i did it in my style, though, so i give respect to the traditional style by not trying to do it in the classic style. i wasn't taught the proper way, so why butcher centuries old traditions!
this is how it turned out. i am beyond stoked about it.

did this one yesterday. it's about 3 inches high on the inner left wrist.
too often you see yellow roses that are done too lightly, and they don't hold up well over time. but i'm sure this one will be just fine!

fun times! did this lil guy on the outside of a foream, took 2 hours and 15 minutes.
i really like this style a lot, and have been working in this vein more and more in the past couple of months.

i drew this one on real quick and got crackin! i love the way it turned out, and i feel the colors play well off of each other.
i think the belly was a good view to take since i wanted to go for something a bit different.

this one is from the cover of "texas chainsaw massacre:the beginning."
i really dig this, and think the effect was awesome. i just really went off with the colors and banged it out.

drove out from jersey for this one. took about 5 1/2 hours to complete, and was super sweet in the end. he sat like a champ, even through the ditch!
i really like this style, and i'm really getting into the direction it's been taking for me.

i love this stuff! alright so i did a rather large skull on this client 2 days before this. then he came in wantin more!
i have that effect...

yes, this is a twist on the bone thugs n harmony logo. word em up.
i made it all new schoolie with some bling and such, and i really enjoyed doing it. it took about an hour and 45 minutes.
sweet.

a little twist on the traditional st. michael. i went for a more dramatic effect with this.
my man here drove from maryland to come see me, and sat for a whopping 7 hours to get this one done. props to him on that!
oh, and excuse the crappy lavender line down the middle! i'm never going to that place to develop film again!

i did this one last month. a bit more neo-traditional than i usually venture, but i really do enjoy this style.
the banner says evan, which is the client's son. so to that one specific person out there (you know who you are) this is NOT a tribute to eddie van halen.
how you even reached that conclusion astounds me....

yeah, so here's the devil! complete with a whip and a spear...there's so much more to this when it's done. the other shoulder blade will be done, as well as half of his chest, all incorporated into one piece.
i did the entire thing with a 9 mag, except for a few areas in the eyes/mouth region, where i did use a 5 round.
enjoy!

yeah, a zombie caveman. who gets this stuff? obviously people who come to me.
i had a great time doing this one, and the kid was a horror fanatic. we're doin a whole slew of horror related imagery, the next of which will be one of the random background vampires from the movie from dusk til dawn.
can't wait!

i've recently begun to incorporate my old style with my new style, and this is the bastard child of such a union.

no, not the pimp caddy who carries your pimp for you, a pimp caddy like a pimped out caddilac symbol.
this is in a very awkward spot. it's about half the size of a dollar bill, and it's in the area between your shoulder, your back, and your armpit.
