This multi award-winning artist has been tattooing in the Chicago area for 17 years and has owned and operated Tattoo City – Skin Art Studio in Lockport, Illinois since 1994. www.tattoocityskinart.com He is a very versatile and well-rounded artist, capable of portrait quality black and gray, micro fine detailed single needle work, bold crazy color bomb and everything in between. His stellar reproductive skills are right up there with the best in the business but what sets him apart is his ability to draw killer original designs. Lately, Larry has been enjoying a more painterly style of tattooing that can be seen in his newest color work and reproductions of the great Sci-fi art of Frank Frazetta. He is desperately trying to work a more regular painting schedule into his busy life of tattooing and convention dates and hopes to finish the twenty or so paintings already in progress before he is eligible for social security.

i read these peoples harsh comments on other peoples work,but can they back up the critique with there work, and customers choices!i think its fucking awesome ! what more could you ask for than to provoke a reaction from some one. come to think of it isnt that one of the things art is suppose to do? keep on provoking

the pin up of the two ladys is a bit on the nasty side but then on the other hand its good work, it looks as tho you spent quite alot of time on the piece but then i dont think the image is very tasteful.

No matter what no one says, you are are a all around artist. Your work is very smooth and awesome. I seen you in the secrets from the masters how too tattoo guide. Im am a young artist thats tryin to make it and your work pushes to strive harder. When you are a black artist like me its harder to be excepted as a artist because so many ignorant people see color insted of art. Keep slingin the ink you are are a top artist in my book.
