This is my first color bomb half sleeve. Most of my stuff is old school, black ink, fantasy stuff. This piece includes some portraiture/realism. Some fantasy, old school, new school and lots of color. Bright neon blaring color. BAM! Im gonna try and show it in order, as each piece was added. The idea of the tat was this: Beautiful woman has nightmare. Passes thru the spider webby gateway and into the realm of horror. This world is embedded in graveyards and spider webs. She changes into a demon girl, not so pretty anymore. In her nightmare, her man is a blood sucking vampboy. A swirling vision of red, black, and mucous green spiderwebs..snakes eating her skull clean...blood dripping from the mouth of her man. She wakes. Only to find herself face to face with a creature that has followed her home. She may never close her eyes again.. ahahaha.. cool huh?

I want to start by saying that Brandon Bond and Sean Herman are huge inspirations of mine. These first two tats are, respectively, replications {bad] of their incredible work!
It began with the "Pretty Lady" pinup on the hand. The NIGHTMARE follows. The first vision is of herself, as a demon lady...and the nightmare continues from here.
While the girls were healing, we did an entire backarm pattern in one sitting. It keeps with the horror/night... theme. A graveyard behind the faces and heads...
Blending it
Back to the front...the nightmare continues with a vision of pretty ladys man turned blood sucker. Bloodsucker bumps his head on some oldschool work from years ago.
The nightmare rests in spider webs and ectoplasmic goo
Trying to set the entire tat on top of the spiderwebs of the horror realm, we added some neon green snot looking spider webbery. Basically then, the entire nightmare is surrounded, and set in, spider webs
We created the gateway..(the red webs between pretty lady and alter ego lady), and layed in the booger webs on top. The nightmare is now surrounded in an underworld of colorful webbery.

Basically the thing is done, the nightmare dreamt. I left out a few photographs that showed more blending, more filling in, and some green snotty looking spiderwebbage that cemented the entire vision inside of this webstuff.

My digital camera sux. Anyway, heres the front side of the finished tattage, on a black background.
An otherworldly spider follows pretty lady thru the gateway, stares at her, and says "BWAHAHAHAHA", or something like that.
Ok, thats it. All done. Ink is such a great way to express yourself, or express how you feel, or to tell a story. Right? Right.

Sorry about that.....
Ive been offline...taking care of my moms at my home. And I've had two grandchildren born to my family...(my 2 oldest daughters). 1 marriage..(my oldest son). And I'm 1 month away from my 3rd grandkid, (also my oldest son). I am the official babysitter for my daughters kids. Call me Poppi! So, Ive not had alot of time to update this page. Hell, I haven't had time to eat, f#%k, or sleep, let alone any of this other stuff. If you have kids, or grandkids, you understand. Thanks, Rusty
