Blacklight reactive ink is a great way to have a tattoo that no one can see but under the blacklight or to add a little something special to trip out your friends. Really how safe is Chameleon blacklight tattoo ink? Given its extensive testing for FDA approval, with absolutely no adverse reactions to it in over ten years, it is all in the proof, this ink is most likely the safest ink on the market. Here is the bottom line: from Crazychameleonbodyartsupply.com - It contains NO phosphors - It is NOT radio active - It DOES NOT contain EverGlow - It does NOT cause cancer - It has FDA approval as a Spectral Marking [ tattoo] Pigment that was developed for use in tracking [tattooing] animals and fish - and yes the same ones we eat, and has been tested and used with NO adverse reaction in humans for over 10 years. - the florescent dye is completely safe and has NO carcinogen and is human safe and does not spread or “blow out” because the dye is contained in micro capsules, and never

Did this little Dragon for Megan from New Mexico. Would have been nice to do bigger. It was her first tattoo, done on her chest, and she giggled.

Studio Site at: http://thedungeonincstudio.ning.com
I love to do color work. But I am up for anything. Many people come to me for my attention to small detail and to do custom tattoos.
Although I have only been Tattooing since 2001. I have been an Artist since I could pick up a pencil. I was always drawing something. I can only feel privileged to have so many friends/clients that love my work as much as I love to do it.
A special thanks to everyone that works so hard to put this site together. I have been contacted by people from across the US and beyond for everything from artwork, doing tattoos, and news articals. It's been very cool.
Be sure to check out our new site at http://thedungeoninc.comHome of my new TDI-07 Digital Power Supply. Some Artists build Machines, I build power supplies.

invisible tattoo?
In Jason's pic the tattoo is still fresh and the ink is still visible. When healed can you still see the ink?

Answer to above
After more than a year and a half there is almost no trace of the tattooing and the Ink still glows bright under the light.

Answer to above
Because with regular tattoo ink we have color of some kind left behind, You don't see the scaring that is on the skin. But with the Blacklight, White Ink the scaring is noticeable untill the skin completely heals. That could be a year or more till you see no trace of the tattooing. I will try to post some progressive pictures when I return from Colorado on the 13th of March.

Answer to questions
I have looked into the question about any reactions to tanning/ tanning beds. With the research I have done the only reaction has been a slite yellowing to the white when it is "Fresh", and we all know we should not be tanning with a new tattoo, the yellowing faded completly away when the tattoo fully healed. Also the comment above is frome the staff at Crazy Chameleon. Great people always willing to help. My Thanks to them.

Wow
This page apparently got onto digg.com and one or more high traffic blogs and got so much traffic yesterday that my datacenter emailed me to let me know that my bandwidth usage had increased significantly over the last 24 hours... by about 18Mb/s sustained during peak hours. This type of blog-induced spike is usually temporary but this is already one of the most viewed pages out of all of my sites after only 1 day since the spike.

Answer to some questions
Thank You Everyone for viewing my work and your comments. let me answer a few of your questions.
You can find the Ink and a list of artist that do the UV tattoos at crazychameleonbodyartsupply.com They can also answer most of your questions about where it is available.
I have used it on all colors of skin.
It works pretty much like any other ink. Lifespan? I have been using it for three years and I have talked to other artist that have been using it for six and it still glows under the blacklight.
I will post some fully healed pictures in the next couple of days.
Hope that is some help, Thanks again, Richie.....

No Worries
Definitely wasn't complaining about sudden burst of traffic, just kind of amazed. Props to my ISP for being able to scale up my bandwidth on demand like that.
