i find this piece quite interesting. not just the subject matter but its significance. this young lady's mom passed away at a very young age. and she did not get to meet her grandson. so jessica wanted to use a classic image of the mother mary holding baby jesus and super impose her moms face over marys and her sons face over the baby face of jesus. we were extremely limited in photo references especially for her moms face. i struggled so much drawing for this tattoo but we were both pleased with the outcome. even though we were limited, i felt the tattoo had enough resemblence of her son and mom. yes, i posted this still fresh in some parts but i know the grays will blend in nicely. even though its not fully healed, i'm sure it can be appreciated.

My name is Iggy. I've been a tattoo artist for 14 years. I reside out of Columbus, Ohio and work out of Bodystain Tattoo. I focus mostly on anything portraiture style, custom black and grey work. I love doing full color as well. I really dig asian, renaissance, and bold large designs. I'm here to not only admire other artists work but to hopefully learn more about techniques and design elements. to anyone viewing my page and reading this, i thank you. any comment, feedback, and or constructive suggestion or opinion would be appreciated.
