Frame is milled from solid brass barstock and brazed together, then polished and slowly heated again several times to darken the finish and give it an aged look. Angled 'pillar-style' spring deck is topped with a dime spring saddle. A-bar is 1018, 1/2" wide with a .010" oversize stainless nipple and rides on .018" blued springs. It has hand-turned brass binders and 6-32 brass contact screw with hammered and torch-curled head. The coils are handwound 10-wraps on 1.25" 1012 cores with 1/16" brown phenolic washers, sealed with urethane varnish, and wired with a 47uf cap. Weighs 11.4 oz.
