“The Stinger"

This is a 100% Handmade Tattoo Machine.

The Theme for this machine is the Stinger. Like a Bio Mechanical Sting Ray.

Unlike a lot of others who mainly put parts together and call them self’s builders. I spend a lot of time customizing parts and adding extra carving to the frame I hand Carved the back, bottom, uprights, coil side, spring deck.

Additionally I hand carved and taped the Contact screw Stand-off.

Then I used a special process to give this a Brown Patina and then hand polish it to create an artist flow to the color and the lines of the machine, when completed I use a metal polish to finalize out the frame and parts.

This machine is using a Speed A-Bar which is lighter and hand cut the springs and will lay the ink down with low compression..........

This is a Profetional Tattoo Machine Liner built by Dragon Randy, Very Collectable, be the only one to own one of these special machines.

BELLS & WHISTLES

The “Frame” is a sand casting made of Red Bronze, which is very malleable with great vibration damping properties. This frame was a Sand Casting and required a lot of work to bring out the form I was looking for. I wanted to have the frame take on its own Bio metal flavor so I hand carved and hand sanded this frame.

The “Metal Finish”” I hand finished using Casey Browning process and buffed in the high lights. To finish I hand polished the frame with a special metal polish.

The “Contact Screw” is a Solid Brass Artist Hands Grasping a Crystal.

The “Front Binding Post” I used a Solid Brass that is threaded to 8/32.

The “Set Screw” I used a Knurled Thumb Screw with a plastic washer and an inserted plastic ball in the mounting hole to keep the threads from getting damaged on the contact screw.

The “Rear Binding Post” hand carved Brass Spines that I taped and threaded to 8/32 and drilled vertically for attaching your clip cord to.

The “Tube Vice” was handmade by cutting and milling solid brass and then taped and threaded to 8/32, then I in a solid brass Contact screw and solid brass Knurled Thumb Screw for your own special tube vice clamp.

The “Armature Bar” is a Speed bar room Soba and made out of Low Carbon 1018 Iron, lightened and balanced for black and gray performance.

The “Contact and are Soba blued spring steel.

The Main Spring” handout blued spring steel.

The “Magnetic Coils” handmade by Addictited and are 1.1/4” 8 Wrap,

This machine is ready to use professionally to lay down some Lines with only adjustment to the speed adjustment on your meter.
